Built on something
real.
Years before NOMAS existed, Vassilis experienced first-hand how quickly an owner can lose visibility over their own property once management is handed over. He asked a simple thing: to observe a guest check-in, to understand how the process worked at the property he owned. The request was refused.
The incident itself was small. What it revealed was not. The real problem was not one refusal. It was a management model built around distance rather than transparency — where the owner was expected to trust without being allowed to understand. The property was theirs. The management had made them an outsider to it.
In 2021, that conviction became NOMAS. Vassilis, Nikos, and Spiros founded the company in Corfu — a market they knew well — with no portfolio and no guaranteed pipeline. They began with the philosophy first, and built the company around it.
Five years later, NOMAS manages more than a hundred properties, with its operating foundation in Corfu and a broader vision for selected Greek island destinations. The team has grown. The infrastructure — an in-house cleaning operation, our own laundry facility, direct owner reporting — has been built and refined. The standard we started with has not moved.
